A deep indigo border, edged with a small zigzag trim, frames a plain cream field with tulip motifs placed at the corners, center edges, and along the top and bottom border. It's a fuller, more traditional take on the bordered rug family, more motifs and a stronger color contrast than the corner-only pieces.
The zigzag edge detail and the mix of terracotta, teal, and sage inside each tulip motif keep it from feeling flat despite the single dominant border color. Works well in a dining room or living room where you want a rug with real presence.
Flatwoven from New Zealand wool. Motif spacing and zigzag detail vary slightly rug to rug, standard with handloom weaving.
