Rug making is the family trade

Our family has made rugs in Bhadohi since the 1960s. Four generations have worked these looms, and the craft was learned on the floor.

For decades we have manufactured for international buyers, who sold our rugs under their own labels. They have trusted us with their orders, season after season.

In 2013 we added our own label, Adnan Rugs. The looms, the people and the standards are the same.

Who you'll be dealing with

I’m Adnan Ansari, fourth generation in this business. I did an MBA at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, then came back to build the first brand our family has owned.

My father, Irshad Ali runs production. He has spent a lifetime on the floor and decides the materials and construction of every rug we make.

I look after the brand and our buyers. When you write to us, you are writing to me.
